Overview

Max began a painting career in 2019 with his sellout show 'Mocking Birds'. The works were exhibited in the London Biennale of Art and received a special mention of excellence. Max is the youngest person to be exhibited.
He then studied a course in Art/Luxury/Fashion at the Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York USA and went on to the prestigious Central St. Martins in London UK, studying Bespoke Tailoring. In 2020, he returned to New Zealand and developed his second collection 'SIX ON THE DOT.' which sold out in Wanaka. He is now studying for a degree in Performance Design at the New Zealand drama school, Toi Whakaari. The course specialises in the areas of Scenography, Dramaturgy, Mise-en-scène, and Artistic Direction; he aims to apply these skills to his work in fine art and pursue a master's in Contemporary Art practice in London when he graduates.
Max is a young internationally-selling and award-winning artist who has trained and worked globally in the fields of Fine Art, Graphic Design, and Fashion.
